Hello, I bought this watch direct from the Ministry of Defence in the 1970's and it has never had the dial touched by me therefore how can it be a fake?, you can also see that the dial is original with stains which have affected the numerals, also why doe...

Hello, I have the identical dial watch, yours being the only exact match I have seen. Like you I can be certain of the age and the source. I would expect the numbers to be near each other. Regards Pieter

thick soft iron dial should have luminous wells for the lume.....

your markers seem to be printed on the dial and lumed afterwards. check the dial from the inside; take the mvmt. out with the amag. mvmt. holder ( soft iron as well) and you will be able to measure the thickness of the dial. looks like a put together to m...
