I believe you know the answer.  My opinion would not be to purchase the watch.  Find something you definetly will never have 2nd doubts on.

Is this Breguet Tradition to big for my boney-ass wrist?

I love this 37 mill. Breguet but I am afraid because of the lugs it might be too big for my wrist. I seem to have no problem with the Patek 5146 because of the small lugs. What do you guys think about the fit?...

You NEVER say yes. But since you're a guy, I'll level with you. The watch is WAY too big for your wrist. Sorry to disappoint. :-/ BHM

lugs or face?

because of the lugs extension or because of the face size in your opinion?

I don't agree!

The fashion is to wear big watches. This 37 mm watch looks impressive in your wrist and I think that Le Tradition should look impressive. I have a relatively big wrist and I own Le Tradition in YG. Normally I do not like watches much over 40 mm but Le Tra...

It depends also which angle you look at the watch. In the following picture the small watch looks big: Best regards, Kari...

What size watch do you normally wear?

Are they the same size as the La Tradition that you're considering? I think it looks fine. But how does it fit on your wrist? Does it stay flat on your wrist or does it twist around? Regards, ED-209

it's always subjective: but if you ask, you already know...

in the photos, it does appear disproportionate. it seems to me that you already suspect this, or else perhaps you wouldn't ask. so the question then is, do you love it regardless. if so, are you sure you won't always have a nagging thought that it look to...

34mm

 By: ariarec : July 12th, 2010-11:33
I am used to wearing a 34 MM Rolex Air King so anything is going to feel larger to me- I just hate to limit myself to older 35-36 MM watches if I don't have to. It seams that wearing big watches are in now, but I am not sure if this one looks ridiculous o...

5.5 inch wrist

 By: ariarec : July 12th, 2010-13:27
Damn, I just measured my wrist because I read someone else was talking about their small 6.25 wrist. Mine is 5.5 inches in the spot I wear my watch!!!

You first must be comfortable wearing it

once you achieve that then you can decide if it is ok or not, if you cant come to terms with it then the answer is there, i suggest wear a larger watch for a while and see how it goes

strap holes

 By: ariarec : July 12th, 2010-16:03
The problem is that you can't really get a feel for it because to be able to wear it they would have to make extra holes in the strap. A lot of holes...... How does one know if a watch is going to be comfortable to wear if they have such a small wrist?

My rule of thumb, eehhh.... wrist :-) is...

that if the lugs extend out from your wrist the watch is to big (aesthetically speaking). But(t) opionions is like an a** hole, everybody has one.... In the end it is you who has to be comfortable wearing the piece! Best Rob.
