Hi Marco, the E 870 was in production from 1970 to 1975.

There were 1120 watches made. The cases are very close, indeed, not the movements. What does that mean? Everything is possible, tough to be affirmative. It seems that the E 870 is the only JLC / Lecoultre Ref to use this case. Now, JLC used this movement ...

I thought that JLC like Omega matched the Mouvement Number with Serial Case. In this case if I asked for an Extract of Archive I wouldn't get any information about for example a movement replacement. Isn't it? Thanks Marco
