a conversation I've had with Montblanc Boutique in Athens. They had the Manually wound date version in YG, and claimed (on the phone) that the s/s version of this exact same watch has a list price of approximately 7k euros, although not currently available at this particular store. Maybe they were refering to the gmt automatic version, as Anthony explained, which by the way ,seems like a no less beautiful choice and a more "complicated" one!

steel version of the Star Nicolas Rieussec using the manual wind MBR100. They also said that the inital 300 piece limited edition were made only with precious metals. I think there may have been a mistake in the review since Anthony also wrote up Montblan... 

To explain further, the stainless steel Rieussec you saw has to be this one here

I just checked the catalogue I obtained at the NYC MB boutique and there is--or is going to be--a SS version of the Rieussec Chrono Open Date with the manual wind movement. Best, Mitch

Hi Mitch, I think that is in reference to what we've been calling the "skeleton" date
