I have the opportunity to buy one LUMINOR 1950 LEFT-HANDED 8 DAYS, PAM 368, but it is an expensive watch and I am not sure to do it.

yes, it is expensive. Yes, it is a very nice watch! One of my favorites, and if the price was lower I would have. Only you know if you have enough disposable income to afford. Another way to look at it, if you are not sure, which means you have doubts, is...

It's a beautiful, unusual Limited Edition watch....

with a captivating tobacco dial and an 8 days Power Reserve movment that, alone is worth the cost. But if you feel the cost is...expensive...don't buy it. You buy something that's..affordable..not expensive. In my view, the unnecessary items, you buy with...

Lefties

If you are going to wear it on your right wrist, if you are left handed, then there is not a huge demand. This being the fact that only around 10% of the population (lower in China) is left handed. But, many right handed people, who wear their watches on ...

crown on the left is more comfortable

Since two of my panerai watches are in being serviced and repaired. I have been wearing my Graham oversized and i find it quite comfortable to have the crown on the left. Since it is an automatic it is not as important to have the crown on the right.

I already have the "ultimate" 47mm lefty, the 217

I also have a lot of "destros" (that's how the lefhanded models of Panerai are called...destro) and no use for the 368. The destros are not popular models in general, not only the 368. The..only...one everyone wants is the 217 because it has Marina Milita...

I really love the 368 and find it very balanced and a good value for all that PAM goodness you get - brown dial, gold hands, 47mm 1950 case, in-house 8-day movement, uniqueness of a destro...

and the same goes with titanium cases. Also the PAM368 is basically another variation of the PAM217. With the above 3 reasons, that would probably account to the reason why the PAM368 isn't a "hot" watch. In any case, buy what your heart desires and you'l...

As a play on your words, Titanium watches are not as hot. ; ) In a very hot desert environment I found my Titanium Panerai to be much cooler than my SS model. If I had the funds, I would have that 368 in a heart beat. Personally I would prefer it much mor...
