That is a beautiful simple and clean watch design. I quite like it. If I am going to ad a second Omega to my quaint collection, something like that would be it.

It was actually your post that inspired me to seek some advice before wading into the hunt. Thanks for the cautionary tale. Regards, Jon

Manual winding Omega chronometers are scarce relative to . . .

Very Useful!

Thank you so much for giving me a little direction regarding automatics versus manual wind watches. I probably prefer manual wind watches, but only by a little. I believe I was told that Omega Centuries like mine were actually sent from Switzerland as mov...

. . . something familiar about your watch, Jon! Graham was contemplating acquisition of this one . . . . . . back in April of this year. It's very close other than the italicized model name on the dial of one and the bent lugs of the other. This bodes wel...

...here's a picture of a similar watch I found on the web: I think you are correct in that this watch was a "national production" model, cased in the USA. Hope this helps, gatorcpa ...

That's another photo of my actual watch.

You have found a photo of my actual watch from the website of the dealer who sold it to me. It is such a small world. So, unfortunately, this is not independent confirmation of the originality of my piece. Nonetheless, thank you so much for the effort. Ag...

I had read somewhere that these were mostly sold in the Canadian market. Was that incorrect or misinformation?

Sounds familiar

I think I heard something similar too...definitely North American, at any rate. Though, in fact, inside the caseback, its says "Fab Suisse." Regards, Jon
