Hi Ronnie, with this dial is a hard decision... I have compared it with the pictures in my "data base" and I did not find any with a bisected subdial - this feature makes me think it might be a redial. The proportion of the script is also suspicious... ei...

Hi Conor, The position of the word "Chronometre" usually is printed between the Omega logo and the word "Omega" - speaking strictly of 30 T2 Rg (SC) chronometers though! On early examples you will find the word "chronometre" as an "arch" above the Omega l...

Thanks for the photos. Yes, this is an older redial. As Erich correctly pointed out in his previous post, the word "Chronometre" should be printed between the Omega logo and the word "Omega." I would be inclined to refinish the dial as per original specs....

In getting a proper redial done, clearly achieving maximum accuracy is the key objective. From a brief perusal, I've seen two main types of Arabic dials with subseconds. In both cases, the subdial is marked with simple minute markers and heavier 5 minute ...

i`d keep it; bethges re dial will not be much better. causemann is the way to go with chronometer dials. ask him and specify with pictures, what you want. nice watch ! kind regards. achim

...Causemann is quite sloppy now, aftersix months he produced for me a pretty average chronometre redial. Years ago he was much better.
