A superb example with a very rare dial just sold on eBay. The only other I have seen (CERTIFIED CHRONOMETRE at 6 o'clock) is in Bills' tutorial on these. It got a little rich for me, but I hope it found a nice home with one of my friends here :).

Vintage omega prices are on the rise and while this price may seem insanely high now it might be considered a bargain in 2 years - I know some watches I passed on because I considered the price too high 2 years ago that I would snatch up in a second if I ...

Hi Mike, What is the reason behind, is it shortage on the market, what do you think? Or is it the fear of total inflation/breakdown of the monetary system which leads persons to invest even at these "overpaid" prices? BTW have you watched the pink gold 33... 

Less supply - the nice pieces are gradually being bought and only a small percentage of them come back on the market More demand - huge expansion in the base of vintage omega collectors primarily from Asia (China, HK, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam and othe... 

Hi Mike, thank you for your analysis and thoughts - they sound reasonable... It is the same with me - too many watches and too little "specials"... Worth thinking over and change the strategy :-) So I guess I will keep my Conny de luxe for some more years... 

All markets are prone to shifts. Can one see a similar change in other analogous watch brands? Rolex and Patek occupy quite specific markets segments which seem slightly decoupled from the mainstream market. I suppose that JLC might be one of the closest ...

From my point of view and the 1964 theme. I have a list of pieces for sale and not enough funds to buy them all so it is inevitable that i will lose some. Undoubtedly the nice or ubusual ones. You would think the theme would get harder, but it seems more ...
