...just bought it a little while ago with original bracelet and end-pieces. Unfortunately it hasn't grew on me ever since :-( BTW the watch can be set to a certain hour and minute so the thin disc represents the 'hour hand' while the bigger inner disc is the 'minute hand' of the alarm mechanism. The watch has the caliber 980 and it's automatic. More stuff can be found,

...still my heart doesn't beat as it should be when I wear the thing. It was the same with my Chronostop as well, bought the Seamaster version with the rotating inner bezel, but let it go for this one. Now I think something's wrong with me I just received...

I juz thot it's nice to have a break away from moonwatches. Afterall Omega is not solely about Speedies! I believe Memomatic had a short production cycle which is why it wasnt popular...Having said that, John Goldberger acknowledge its existence in his bo...

They are used to set the alarm time in hours (small triangular index) and minutes (long perpendicular bars). The Omega memomatic is the only one, AFAIK, that provides that possibility with the Lemania cal. 1980. Other models that use this caliber can be s...
