Odd little coincidence but I just received the buckle this afternoon so off with the bracelet and it's winter strap-time.
Great looking Flightmaster, it's been on my wish list for quite a long time.

Flightmaster on Leather?

 By: aroma : November 23rd, 2011-05:23
I've never been a fan of original Omega steel bracelets - I suppose the issue is that by today's standards, they are fairly poorly constructed. In addition, I find bracelets uncomfortable as my wrist swells and contracts and I can never seem to get the ad...

It looks awesome and I agree with you

As much as I love my 70s Omegas, the bracelets are PITA, the leather strap looks great and ofcourse the flightmaster is a fantastic watch. Thanks for sharing. S

It looks very nice on leather.

No doubt a nice leather strap does make a watch stand out. However in this part of the world, where it is humid for better part of the year, a leather strap is only comfortable during winters. Gorgeous Flightmaster. Ed

Not bad at all! [nt]

I like it fine. Maybe I'll like it even more without white stitching.

. . . on straps, Andrew. Since it's not unusual to see them for sale without bracelets (or the full set of links), a strap is a sensible alternative to a NOS bracelet. I had the opportunity recently of seeing a mint 910 on a bund strap, and was able to so...

Actually, that looks fantastic.........

It is always dificult to imagine what a certain watch would look like on a strap until it is fitted. I took some while before I strapped my Flighty and it was the replacing of the bracelet on my Speedie with a strap that gave me the confidence to get a st...

its a bold move putting a flighty on leather, but it works

both the others are often seen on leather so they look fine, but i think this is the first time i've ever seen a flightmaster on leather and it looks good. overall i still prefer the OEM bracelet. G

flightmasters look well on leather straps

I think the flightmaster looks very good on a leather strap but a high quality one , either made by camille fournet or abp but not on a sirtoli or on a hirsch which are average quality straps.

Now you've really got me thinking Andrew.

Thank you for a thought prevoking post! I've never really liked the idea of a flightmaster on leather other than the OEM rally style that it came on as an option back in the day i.e. the one shown here: To be frank I don't really care for these OEM rallys...
