NOS dial

Mar 13, 2011,00:18 AM

Hello,

Can you measure the diameter of the dial and indicate where the feet are located. I've found that not all 354 dials are the same. For example, I have a NOS dial for a 354, but it does not fit the case for my 354.

someone took sandpaper to the dial in an attempt to clean it. If they did, they applied it a little to strong. Good luck with your project. Regards, George

I recently found although fortunately the dial on my 2782 was/is better than that. It is extremely difficult to get NOS dials for Connies - I tried to do this for a 168.004 Pie Pan and had absolutely no joy whatsoever. I saw plenty of fakes described as N...

Here is one of mine in an 18k YG case with a cal. 352 movement. The combo of the black textured dial and the the cal. 352 movement in a constellation makes it not just uncommon but rare....

politely ask MSNWatch to stop posting pictures like these. The severe feelings of jealousy, and of the inadequacy of our own collections that these post invariably bring on are too much to bear ! Perhaps if he could ration them, say to just a few times a ...

I'd like to think I have some nice pieces but it's the product of hard work and knowledge learned from places like this forum. I also happen to have a special attraction to the earlier connies - particularly the ones that came with the cal. 352 movement. ...
