Omega 53 with thin arrow and T dial.

Has anyone seen this dial lettering combination before on a 53 Omega.?

The original thin arrow was on the radium dials, and the imposition of the T means that they would have had to wash the dial free of radium, and then reuse it. Given that the MOD had hundreds of fat-arrow dials ready, this seems difficult to have happened...

Hello Franco, I bought this watch direct from the Ministry of Defence in the 1970's and it has never had the dial touched by me therefore how can it be a fake?, you can also see that the dial is original with stains which have affected the numerals, also ...

Well, answers here come from people's experience as collectors ..... in this case this watch is unusual , and the simple explanation is to say that the dial has been badly repainted at some stage. By the way, how do you know what is radium and what is tri...
