Something for the NASA/Moonlanding fans!

Thought to bring you guys attention to this. It's not the real thing only a copy of course but for the price you can grab a little memorabilia in connection with the landing...

It is sold on a site that has 1 deal every day (this is today's). they sell pretty cheap stuff, from led lamps to brush sets, from body toner systems to wireless headphones etc.

i didnt mention it earlier as i didnt want to reveal the auction house and most of it was weird stuff like flight plans etc. there were some interesting bits like a piece of 'flown' heat shield in resin on a plinth. lots of those for auction at about $7-9...

in the sale but there was an Apollo 13 flown velcro moonwatch strap. The estimate was $1,500 - $2,000. The watch it belonged to is in the Smithsonian so I suspect they, and Omega of course (for their museum) would have been the big bidders. Any idea what ...

sorry vernon i havent looked at the result. there was a liferaft for an apollo splashdown. that would have been useful for anyone living in Gloucestershire :) Graham
