Omega: Thanks Graham..I'll keep trying

A neighbor of mine is a very good photo hobbyist who sells a loyt of his work. He told me that the Panasonic Lumix 12x zoom with the Leica lens was, in his opinion, the best all around camera for a small, light weight camera. I can get one here in the US for about $160..not a bad price. Only problem

Omega: Well done Graham....great pics..any tips?

Very nice watch Graham...you always seem to find the bargains! Your picture quality is outstanding. I am sure you are using a top notch camera, but do you have any pointers to improve my skills...or lack there of! I have an Olympus C-4000, 10x zoom and can never seem to get the focus on close ups co

Ulysse Nardin: It's a Valjoux 72...

UN advised me that it was a Valjoux 72 made in 1966. UN took the movement and added the exceptional finishing. If you look at a Rolex Daytona of the same vintage with the same V72 movement, the finishing is nowhere near as elaborate as the UN.

I finally got one of those new fangled "horb" rubber balls and took the case back off. The movement is a work of art! Gold plating and machine work everywher

Omega: Thanks Graham....

for your opinion and comments. I always feel a tinge of "buyer's remorse" when I splurge for a new addition to the collection, albeit a modest one. I've reached a point with the wife that when I buy one...I feel I have to sell one! What's wrong with that picture! I'll try and hold on to all of them

A Speedmaster automatic in steel and 18k. It is a model 3311.20.00 caliber 1155 and in mint condition with all the boxes, books and m

Thanks for the information. I have the F300 with the white dial and arabic numerals...love the watch though it does not get a lot of wrist time. Dave

Ulysse Nardin: Thanks Tim

I'll post some pics of the movement when I get one of those rubber balls to remove the case back. Any tips on photography...I have an Olympus C4000 and I have always had some difficulties with close up shots and lighting. Any help from Forum members would be appreciated
