There appear to be a few manufacturers at the top. PP, VC, AP, ALS all make watches with good cases, dials, movements, and finishing. I have the GO 70s Panorama Date rather than the chrono. I can confirm it is a fantastic watch. It shares many characteristics with the chrono. Horological Meandering: Awesome classicism and purity

The Lange, Seiko and Vacheron get my vote. I would be very happy with anyone of them. The Patek and the Jaeger are a hair too busy for me. A fantastic single-theme collection.
