Omega versus the JLC extreme test part3
Apr 13, 2007,02:46 AM
My "team" of protagonists! Watchmaker from Brussels and my daughter at hand.
OK..ok..so I don't have guys in white coats and clipboards..but next time...someone loan me a watch.
Now. I am not taking any chances of "loosing my watches" by seeing them spin off the dang wheels and fly onto the road...so...
Heavy duty stuff. Stronger than duct tape!
Polymer tape for fixing of fractures!
These are polymer impregnated tape, when dipped into water, will soften and be pliable enough to wrap around the spokes with the watches enclosed in tight plastic bags.
They are VERY strong. Fiberglass bundles with the watches inside...first the Omega..
Then the JLC Extreme Chrono!
Now for the drive!!!
OK OK..I know many will really want to scream here..but why spoil the fun?
Come back after the Basel SIHH fair...these few days, there are just TOO many watches to look at.
On the 27th of April. I will announce the results!!!
I will say this much..
BOTH watches survived intact 100% at least from the outside.
Would anyone want to guess the time differences between the 2 watches?
The closest guess would win a copy of Timewerk and a HUGE thick Omegamania catalogue from the Antquorum Omegamania auction this week on the 15th and 16th april geneva.
Don't shoot me!!!
