SAS Omega
Aug 08, 2007,19:16 PM
Recently I was talking to my dad about my Omega Seamaster, and he brought up an interesting story. When he was in Vietnam his unit (Special Forces) did cross training with the British SAS. My dad believes that they (SAS) were issued Omega Seamasters as there standard issue watch.
He also remembers a friend of his who was in the SAS as swearing by them.
Does anyone here know if this is the case, and if so what watch was the standard issue of the SAS?
Thank you.
