In defence of the living

I couldn't agree more that banning is justified when disagreements become personal attacks against members. I think you need to be reminded that Maddox is neither a member or a person any more. I find your entire post to be on the level of this blunder. I'm also uncertain whether you actually understand the phrase, 'bloody mindedness' but you are most certainly implying connotations  that form no part of the meaning of the phrase. That is YOUR contribution, not mine, as there is nothing shocking in that quite common phrase.

What is really disappointing is that you never discuss the pertinent points of the issue at hand. You make absolutely ZERO contribution to the topics raised except make uncritical genuflections to Maddox. Funny how you want technicalities and yet you offer none yourself. I think, after all, the joke is on you. Its your inflated self righteousness and empty platitudes that disables you from seeing that. This accounts for the fact that you didn't read the original post with any sensitivity whatsoever and why I felt defending the living from the deceased (to state the matter in your somewhat crude terms). It's also cowardly to expect support from the moderators when you can't even defend your own politically correct opinions, which you are freely entitled to. In many ways that is the most shocking thing of all.
