Bothh the early Seamaster Chronometres (1948-55) and the ones from those from the 60 ties are quite rare and therefore colectible.

As they are also nice to use makes them even more interesting. This one I bought some years ago:

Needs some work, but I love it when I find them like this. All I did was clean the band and polish the smaller scratches out of the crystal. It's a keeper...for now!...

Can't seem to stop! haha [nt]

Really a nice catch - and rare also. These seamasters COSC are lovely peaces to have in a collection - or just to own. How big is it? rgs Baun

I think it's 36mm

It wears a little bigger than some of my other vintage omegas.

Nice!

Looks like another "Bob Barker Special", as in The Price is Right. Enjoy, gatorcpa

Nice find...

Love those cases, and they feel bigger om the wrist than the 36,5mm. Have a chrono and a non chrono in this case shape. Would love to find a steel case chrono. Best Thomas...

Hi Kyle The Seamaster Date chronometer powered by the 564 is a uncommon classic example in any metal ! By the 1960's Omega was really making the Connie its Chronometer line and the Seamaster more of a sporty dress watch line and mostly in NON-chronometer ...

i love the sparkle of the silver dial on this model
