Omega Suverän advertising from the 1940....
I collect Omega SUVERÄN, as we know only sold on the Swedish market around WW2.
I have never earlier seen advertisements of these watches.
I found these advertisements in some Swedish "best of the reader's digest" from 1946-48.

Don't forget that Swiss Franc...
...has strengthened several times against most currencies during the last 60 years or so. This would be over and above general inflation, since that would theoretically affect both the Franc and whatever other currency you want to compare on an equal basi...

the one i had was a military issue from 1946. its good to know they were also available to the civilians. G
