But, now, the new Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial shows its nose.
It is equipped with the 8400 caliber and the anti-magnetic technology introduced in 2012.
Another novelty for 2014: the Speedmaster Apollo 11, 45th anniversary in an unusual outfit.
It houses a PVD dial which is engraved with a laser technique to create the writings. It also has a Nato strap and a ceramic ring.
My favorite is still the Mark II versions as I'm a great fan of the 70's tonneau case but I know many are also greatly surprised by the Diver re edition.
Omega has launched their 2014 novelties. We already talked about the new Mark II in previous threads But, now, the new Seamaster 300 Master Co-Axial shows its nose. It is equipped with the 8400 caliber and the anti-magnetic technology introduced in 2012. ...
I knew you would like it. It is available with a Steel case and matching bracelet or a bi-color steel+rose gold (18K "Sedna" gold as they call it, made with gold, Palladium and copper) The size is 41mm It also has a black ceramic polished bezel (Liquidmet...
....the Rolex GMT. I think it is a star. The Omega is clearly there too. I actually don't have a clear third. The Patek steel is not to my taste, nor is the Patek Nauty. Super-complications also don't ring my bell....so i am reserving judgment on my third...
I just checked it on the Omega site, what a nice classic design. Also, the Speedmaster Mk II is very nice. Omega has some nice re-issues on their hands, indeed. Does not speak too much for their more modern designs, though... With age I seem to be develop...
. . . for over a year, ever since first hearing of the development of a manual winding co-axial escapement caliber. A dateless version would move to the top of my wish list.
Omega put some impressive watches! My winner is the Seamaster 300! after the almost imposibility to get an CK2913 this new is is GREAT! I can not wait to bought it! The Mark II is nice and the Tresor too. Great for OMEGA!
Well it seems this S300 (not the car) is ticking many of our fellow purists' boxes. A very balanced neo retro vintage indeed. Go for it heir Goldfinger! Cheers, Mark
As soon as possible will get the Seamaster 300, this ones reproduces the Beauty of the CK2913 !! Also the Mark II is very tempting. All the best amigo! Armando
The Seamaster 300 re-addition was a surprise for me! Like it a lot - need to be seen in real. The Mk II looks to be very well made, need to have a closer look at that one as well.... Thank you for sharing these, Mark! Best Blomman
The least we can say is that they could very skilfully create their no-retro line up. I wasn't a fan of the X33, but really think the Mark II and S300 are perfectly balanced. Cheers, Mark
Its great to see Omega finally pulling out the stops and outputting such truly beautiful watches. Am sure this will push them back where they belong, straight to the top of the list of collectors who've waited long to see good watches leaving this factory...
Haven't reacted on a post for quite some while but this one pulled the trigger. The seamaster is really a winner, cannot wait to see it in the flesh. Cheers, Starman
