I have treated myself with a new PO for my birthday. It's my first modern watch since ages, a good opportunity to add a member to my Semaster family... here's the new baby, a stunning watch ! more than 50 years between these two: and the mandatory wristsh...  

. . . have all the fun!! Thanks for the side-by-sides; I'm guessing it's one of the regular size Planet Oceans. So when does the new arrival get baptized in the Med? A fresh Seamaster deserves at least one dunking! Happy birthday, mon ami.

...in the meanwhile, I must say it's very strange to old both the first SM300 and the new PO in my hand. They have so much in common, but they are so different at the same time !

...from reading the technical data: the cal. 8500 seems techcally better than te 552...LOL
