It took more than 1 year........

Several watchmakers later so this is now fixed. It was difficult to find buttons. The movement is 321, the same as Omega Moonwatch.
Unfortunately I do not own the watch. It is owned by a work mate of mine and I helped him with some quest for spare parts and its origins / history.
What is interesting is that I have not found anyone who has exactly this look and I have posed the question to several overseas forums but no one has found an exactly equal
The Watch is bought in Hudiksvall in Sweden about 1965 in a watchs shop run by watchmaker Falk.

A year ago it looked like this

And now

That dial is so reminiscent of similar vintage Speedmasters . . .

. . . that I'd say they were produced by the same supplier. No clue as to your friend's watch, Anders; perhaps a small run for a Swedish retailer, similar to the Cairelli Zeniths, but on a lesser scale? Art

I have over a year trying to find info on this. I have spent many hours on this but have not found what I'm looking for. There is an unmarked 321 in the watch. It has some similarities with Cairelli Zenith. It has probably produced in a very small edition...

I'm not quite sure what is meant . . .

. . . by 'unmarked 321', Anders. Do you mean a movement marked '321' without the Ω symbol above, and 'Lemania' engraving on the chronograph bridge instead of 'Omega'? Thanks, Art

According to the watchmaker who I spoke to, He said that it was unmarked 321. My interpretation is that it was neither marked Lemania or Omega on the movement. Best regards Anders

Well, in that case, there are a few scenarios . . .

. . . that play out logically. Since Lemania manufactured the cal 321 for Omega, perhaps they produced a run of movements in excess of an order, or didn't meet the specifications of the order, and rather than scrapping the lot, decided to fit them in thei...

How wrong I was!

Sorry for the late reply but the owner of the watch has been sick with the flu so I have not had access to the watch. Now he's back and I took some pictures today. I misinterpreted the watchmaker. The movement is marked Lemania (see photo) . The movement ...
