I love waffles! You too?

I have completely fallen in love with this old Omega. Sure we know about Rolex waffle dials or so called honeycomb dials. The Explorer 6350 has one of the nicest waffle dials I  know but so does the early 6541 Millgaus -which is stunning. But Omega is perhaps the manufacturer that is best known for its honeycomb /waffle or guilloche - it made plenty of the in the early 1950s.  I recently discovered this Omega which is absolutely to die for. Pink gold with a wonderful 'pure' waffle dial that is completely untouched (many dials get cleaned and become unnaturally shiny). This one is just perfect. By the way this would be a great theme for the next wristscan. For now enjoy one of the best waffle dials ever made in my opinion. For those interested this is reference 2620 and the watch is from 1953.

Best Edmond

For the compliment- but the watch is not yet mine. I am negotiating the price (which nobody really seems to know the value of). Sooner or later I will get there. As yours- although the 'poorer' cousin in steel- I would say: not bad at all Abel! ;) All the...
