Omega Calibres

I'm not very familiar with Omega calibres...

... can somebody please enlighten me on Calibre 8520 on the ladies Aqua Terra?

Like when did it come out?

Is it the smaller version of calibre 8500? Is the 8501 the newer version of the 8500? Where does the 8520 fit in in the scheme of things?

Is the 15,000 Gauss calibre 8508 a beast by itself?



Any help would be greatly appreciated,

I think the cal 8520, dedicated to ladies models, goes back a little further . . .

. . . than last year, Nilo - several years earlier. And, if I recall correctly, it was the first movement to utilize the non-magnetic hairspring now used across the board in Omega's movements. Best, Art
