I'm hooked on this weird watch ...

Team,
Released to the Beijing Olympics, hence the caliber 3888 (8 sounds like "prosper" in Chinese).
The opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics in Beijing began on 8/8/08 at 8 seconds and 8 minutes past 8 pm local time (UTC+08)!
Independent of that, is what I consider a "feel good" watch. A watch that once on the wrist, you feel good.
Five subdials, capable of time 7 days!
Here is my Five counter Speedmaster, Beijing Olympics version:
Let's hope it brings rain. Brazil is facing a major drought and if not rains (a lot) we are doomed.
Love the complex elegance of this watch.
Cheers,
Nilo

I remember seeing this one come out and thinking wow what a stunner. Thanks for the post. I think it to be one of Omega's best of the olympic collection of late. Important, very rare and desireable as they say. Enjoy

Olympic Speedmasters. Yesterday I just added another one (Melborne homage 1956, from a series that was released in 2004) to the stable. Stay tuned for pics. Cheers, Nilo

To assure that our pasta is properly "al dente", as it should be ... 30 minutes is fine to me. But I love chronographs, in special the weird ones: I understand that is barely readable but I like it for two reasons: Olympic heritage and Beijing (a country ...
