Hi, I have been offered an Olympic watch 1956 Melbourne..I have had these before BUT this is in S/S.. Have never seen one before and seller claims Omega made 100 pcs for employees only... This one has Olympic circles logo on dial... Can anyone give me som...

HI Bill, I'd be really interested to know the source for the information you shared about Omega having been ordered to remove the Cross from Melbourne commemorative dials. I was of the understanding that it was always intended that the Olympic Cross dials...

Hi Desmond... It was a long time ago, over a discussion about the model with an Omega employee. I also came across the same bit of info documented I will see if I can find hard copies. The IOC was not as concerned about the caseback and box . I guess they...
