faked gold capped 14900 - 62 cases.   The 14900 encases the cal 551 movement whereas the 14902 hosts a cal 561.

Be nice to see the watch though as the fakers are getting cleverer.

Hi execuse me may I know did Constellation 14900 61 SC ever produced the fake cases on gold-cap case? I have recently purchaced one of these but I am not sure its authenticity.

Mine is a Stainless model with 14900 62 SC but it is a Fake. I've had it a few years before there was any Internet warnings about this fake. By the time I realized it was all wrong it was too late to return it. First check the Crystal I think it should be...

. . . of faked gold-cap ref 14900, I couldn't say. Omega's data base suggests that reference is for steel cases, while 14902 is for gold-capped models. Can you post pictures of the watch, back, movement, and inner caseback? That should help identifying a ...
