Emplacement crystal for Dennison cased Omega pocket watch
Sep 22, 2017,23:26 PM
Hi, I am a newbie here, but the site looks awesome.
I am trying, without success so far, to source a replacement crystal for the following watch:
Movement - Omega #7581753.
Case - Dennison Watchcase Co LTD #457895 - Assay marks indicate 9 carat gold .375, Birmingham, 1929 (E). (Presented to my grandfather for 25 yrs service in 1930).
The inside diameter of the small lip into which the crystal fits is 44.3 mm.
Any information on shape of crystal required and where to purchase would be greatly appreciated. Though I have absolutely no intention of selling, it would also be interesting to know a rough value.

Hello. I've just joined the forum having found it via Google trying to find out a bit about a watch I recently acquired. You have a great thread with loads of info so thought this might be the place to start.

. . . of interest to Omega collectors. Looks original and correct to my eyes; a view of the crown would be helpful. Being a family heirloom, though, wouldn't it be worthwhile to restore and treasure for generations to come? Cordially, Art
