I mean, I'm sure that if you left it that way for some absurd length of time like five years or something that it might lock up on you, but that would be true of any condition of the watch close to the end of its service interval.  Speedmasters in general have a way of running awfully nicely for ridiculously long periods of time anyway- they really can take a lot of abuse though of course it's not recommended.

The documents were very interesting indeed, thank you again for sending them- I'll have to send you an email BTW going into a little more detail.
