I agreed with you Nilo...

the SM 300 is the first Omega I purchased.  The bracelet is quite well constructed.  There are two screws on each side with a rod to hold each link.  Things could have been improved are the clasp, it is big probably because it is not flat.  The micro adjustment is not perfect.  If there was a shoulder protecting the crown, it might be better. But I doubt Omega will bother to change them.

No applied markers on the dial face so do most Panerai.  That is the idea of having the patina sandwiched.

I like about the sizing of the bezel.  It is thin enough so that the dial face does not look too small.  It turns unidirectional as it should be for a diving watch and each turns is 30 seconds.  The hands are very legible in the dark.  The markings glow the entire night.  Time can easily be read. Finish of the casing is very nice.
While some considers the case back should be solid, I guess Omega intentionally put a see thru glass is to show off this simple but yet technically clever movement.  I'd rather have a see thru to check on the co-axial.

Nicholas is right about pairing it with calf strap.  I'd be getting a 100m water resistant leather strap so that I do not even have to swap in the bracelet in the summer time.

After reading the biography of George Daniels, I must purchase a co-axial movement.  All in all, it was a good buy for me and more importantly it compliments my small collection.

I cannot disagree the original buckle is out of proportion. The bracelet is therefore saved for the summer time. Meanwhile, I am enjoying the watch with this strap....

Well, I'm not a bracelet person but ...

I don't see the Seamaster 300 Master as a re-edition but as a new way of doing a watch. Simple, no date (thank you Omega - We all have the date and more on our smartphones), technological advanced (or should I say revolutionary). Perfect size, perfect dia...

I have a spare JLC leather strap which does not have a watch to pair with. Calf will be nice. : )
