I am not a Speedie fan, but I must admit that this one has some interesting details.

The combination of rose gold, titanium, brown dial and gold indexes / hands is quite appealing. The strap is excellent, and the packaging awesome.
Yes, even for a non speedie guy like me, there is a lot to think about.
But first in my list, a Vintage one... 2998, for example.
I would have preferred, maybe a straight lugs model, but it would not be coherent with the 45 th anniversary of the event. At this time, Speedmasters had lyre lugs, like this one.

It feels very light and what they did to the dial is very subtle and elegant. The grade 2 titanium will darken with time and will create a nice contrast with the gold. I would personally prefer it with a matching Ti bracelet and I understand that is a pos...
