Mission Accomplished…

Mar 19, 2024,02:13 AM

Brought this new Speedy with me on my vacation and been wearing it daily since Mar 7th…so far only gain +2s and some days are spot on.

Am I lucky or this 3861 is just so good?

Wife and son took a plane ride around the island and it was amazing, untapped beauty.

I chickened out because I am not good with heights and prefer not to have whole family on this smaller plane 😅

Lots of free roaming chickens, protected by law.

Famous Spouting Horn
l

Last but not least, lots of local favorites delicious food trucks and small restaurants. This place doesn’t have too many fancy, fancy restaurants but I’m totally fine with that.

Mac Crusted Mahi Mahi

Hawaiian BBQs

Lots of Ahi tuna poke

The shrimp station

French toasts

Portuguese sausage omelette

Wagyu beef Loco Moco

Sushi are nice too

More Loco Moco but with Kalua pork

Glorious setting. That's a plane ride I'd take in a heartbeat! Thank you for the pictures! Cheers, Filip

I am saving it for next time I visit 😊

There are also helicopters option but they flew lower. You’re welcome…Mahalo.

I was salivating from the watch...

And then I saw the food!! This Omega is definitely high on my wishlist. Congrats on the watch, and the beautiful vacation.

The bracelet is soft but conformed to my wrist all day long…

Thanks Michael…was originally planning to bring the new AE Australia and XPS but wife thinks to save the pair for next trip in June.

Beautiful watch and pictures!!!

Thank you 🙏🏻, happy to share.

Really love seeing this Speedmaster…

 By: ArmisT : March 19th, 2024-02:35
and loved this series of pictures as much. Do you prefer this Speedmaster on the bracelet, or would you consider swapping for the rubber or leather strap? I like how the rubber strap leaves no lug gap.

Before this new bracelet, I would prefer the rubber strap but I they are both great....

 By: Clueless_Collector : March 19th, 2024-03:06
I just wish I can swap them easily. The option to add the rubber strap + deployant is $540 and from most, it is better to get the bracelet and buy the strap, not other way round. I have this on the rubber strap and it is more comfortable than the Oysterfl...

Ah, Hawaii.

I love those islands. The timekeeping sounds great. May I ask, have you been running the chrono?

Looking more at the amazing pictures from the plane really makes me appreciate the beauty of the Earth.

Living in a concrete jungle, it’s too easy to lose sight of the bigger reality. That’s why traveling can be so important. Thanks for sharing.🙏🏽

Lol…yes we are on honeymoon

Pic galore!

We understand you may be a bit upset you couldn't get the black dial with plexi but stay strong, good things come to those who wait 😀 Joke aside congrats on adding a fantastic speedy and thanks for the pics!

Livin' the good life . . .

. . . and lovin' it, CC! Vacay in Hawaii with the family, fine dining, and a new Speedy on your wrist . . . how could it get better than that? Not sure what I'll be wearing during my trip to Vegas for the Stones show in May, but chances are it'll be this ...

Nice choice, Don.

I am really happy and contented with my life, just right, balanced...Thanks Art!

Wow, you are indeed their #1 fan and I'm impressed. Hope you enjoy Vegas and the concert.

Thanks Nico, and I want to go to Paris again :)

No plans this year but not for long before I will scratch that itch again.

Thank you for these amazing pictures,

makes one almost feel as if one were also there! Looks like you had a great time. Oh, and congratulations on the Speedmaster, a very nice watch indeed!

You're very welcome....5D4N is just enough for me here in Kauai.

Glad you enjoyed my photos. Cheers!

With the exception of my 2500 movement which is still very accurate

 By: myles721 : March 19th, 2024-10:38
my Omegas are accurate to to within 5 seconds per month and at times +/- so almost never have to reset the hacking time.

That is nice way to do it...For my 321, I tend to hold the crown and twist slightly back to make the seconds hand move backwards or stop to wait for the exact time.

 By: Clueless_Collector : March 19th, 2024-17:20
Maybe I should just relax and not be so adamant about the accuracy to the second )

The Shal for sure…next is either the AIT Cadence, XPS or Martime 😅

 By: Clueless_Collector : March 19th, 2024-19:27
Since this is to Mexico, maybe Orange is more likely.

Oh you little devil! Yeah!

The food photos are killing me!

 By: cazalea : March 19th, 2024-14:17
I guess fried chicken is still popular over there? Trying as hard as I could, never was able to run over one with my rental car... :-( Island looks pretty much the same Cheers, Cazalea ...

The Hawaii pics of the wild chickens reminded me of your SD rooster pics…but those belonged to someone in your case.

 By: ArmisT : March 19th, 2024-15:10
I would never have imagined a place with ‘wild’ free-roaming chickens…that people don’t try to catch and eat. Why protected by law?🤔 Are they like the roaming geese🤔 Inquiring minds want to know )).

Haha...you know me, forgot to add disclaimer again to pre-warn. Yes, chilli pepper friend chicken and oh boy I love the crispy skins....Sorry but Thank you Chickens for your sacrifices...

Driving along Hsy 56, 560, 550 last few days, only saw 3 flatten ones on the road...which is pretty good considering how many are there. Aloha and mahalo.

Fantastic Post!!

 By: sludgeriff : March 19th, 2024-18:14
Be sure to bring back souvenirs!! I always shop for framed Koa Weapons when in Hawaii. ...

Oops…too late, already home 😔

 By: Clueless_Collector : March 19th, 2024-19:25
However I did bring back lots of macadamia nuts and snacks 🙌🏻

Any SPAM?

 By: cazalea : March 19th, 2024-20:38
When I was checking my bag the TSA guy said "Eh man, you got any duplicates in here? I'm getting hungry just lookin at this good stuff." Mike ...

Oh no shxt....they have that?!?! Wow, I'm indeed clueless :))

 By: Clueless_Collector : March 19th, 2024-22:49
Holy cow....I need to go back again, lol...those look amazing! I should visit my local grocery stores or go online to check them out.

Yes, Hawaii and the other Pacific Islands are the intergalactic peak of SPAM consumption

 By: cazalea : March 19th, 2024-23:14
Rumor has it due to it being the main animal protein source during the last world war (i.e. not counting fish or tofu). But if you want to go further, and I know you do, perhaps there are 20 varieties (not all in the US)! CHECK THIS LINK OUT SPAM Fries Ba...
