 By: DrStrong : November 18th, 2014-01:50
The history of the Omega Seamaster 1000m starts with the birth of the Seamaster 600 – aka Ploprof - in 1970, after four years of intensive research and testing. This watch was aimed at the new challenges faced by professional divers. = The Ploprof was us...

When you know the watch has spent so much time in a drawer...

...it's like an honor to hear it ticking again on your wrist !

Another wonder ...

Indeed, an original Seamaster 1000m is a very, very rare watch. Most of the examples on the market were built recently with NOS / service parts. Cheers Jeff

Great catch

That is a real beast. I am glad your watchmaker has talent and was able to restore the watch without removing the originality. Enjoy it. Bill

Thanks my friend

...more Omegas than Rolex now. ...

You know . . .

 By: Dr No : November 20th, 2014-13:41
. . . what they say: Rolex guys have more dollars than sense. Omega guys have more cents than dollars. :-)

Call me crazy . . .

 By: Dr No : November 18th, 2014-14:54
. . . but I prefer its look . . . . . . with the original crystal. Makes it seem like the watch Richard Boone . . . . . . should've wore. :-) Congrats, Jeff - you're closing in on the complete collection of Omega divers! Art ...

I know what you mean...

Thank you, Jeff! Such an iconic diver that really pushed dive watch development forward. I am a HUGE fan go the PloProf and "the Grand." Two legends. Enjoy them both!! -Mike
