It seems that they will be anouncing something quite new tomorrow? A world first, from what they say. Orange ceramica, orange Liquidmetal, .... A special display integrated in a Co-Ax. movement? Do you have any guess ? Mark ...  

So it seems to be a 8 pieces Limited Edition PO in Platinum. The bezel is in orange ceramic. ...  

. . . other than the central tourbillon, I can't think of any other Omegas rendered in 950 Pt, at least, not off the top of my head. I wonder if this augers for platinum models across the line. Thanks very much for sharing this with us, Mark.

I think it was made to underline the new ceramic color. Nice evolution though as some brands are trying to develop colored ceramic for watches. Cheers Art, Mark

Worth the extra money compared to the steel version as the hands are much more appealing. It is not limited as you know but surely of very limited quantities ... that is a dark horse, actually :-). Best Moritz

..all the way to the end and couldn't help but say a loud wow when I saw the picture with omega logo in diamonds in the sapphire case-back!.these pieces are definitely too 'jewellery' for a dive watch, but it sure is some research and work they have done.... 

Mark, firstly a great thank you for the informative thread. I can appreciate the orange Pt one but I do not understand why they put diamonds on the sapphire back of the black one. IMO this does not make sense - first to create a see through back and then ... 

I guess they used this tool watch to make a kind of demonstration. I's just a communication support for the ceramic elements. So, as for the diamond on the case back saphire, I think it is to show something, instead to really use the watch as such. I wond...
