While I love the platinum and gold versions of the chronometer, they are, IMO, "commemmorative" type pieces.

The Anniversary 160 watches on the other hand are entirely new watches.  New movement which likely will be the powerhouse of the UN line for years to come.  New case and dial.  Curved white gold numerals.  The case itself is my favorite aspect of the watch.  Oval from left to right, curves from front to back.  Luminous dots mounted in the vertical sidewall of the inner bezel.  Pull the crown out to make any adjustments and there is no play whatsoever in the minute hand.  The date precisely moves forward or back depending upon which way you turn the crown.  Simply a pleasure to operate.

So between the two, definitely the Anniversary piece IMO.

Most distinguished purists, I really love what Ulysse Nardin is doing over the last years. The innovation, the beauty of the movements as well of the dials... For you which wacth represents a more valuable collection piece: The Marine Chronometer Limited ...

I love both, BUT IMHO >>>
