.. just had the recent misfortune, that the ( black) rubber strap is 3/4 torn exactly @ one of the watch ends ( when trying to switch straps) , and am currently reluctant, to always/ only wear the red.. Otherwise a cool & robust piece, IMO.. My best, hs
New set of straps would do much better job...

I do like the way the older strap looks, so perhaps I will have to "distress" the new one a bit. The strap draws your attention away from the case, and from noticing the hard life this watch has led - I don't know its full history but my wife has worn it ...
