Have a great weekend everyone! Henrik...
Very stealthy, Henrik!

Did you put your black beauty on a new strap recently? I don't recall this medium brown leather strap! Cheers, Daos
Very nice vintage, love that dial

Day & Month windows in combination with a pointer for the date are always my favorite. Cool watch. GEO
gorgeous watch

Love the watch the dial compliments the case colour really well. triple date with date pointer - great complication. Cheers JML

One more pic......
I would like to see and here more ...
By: AndrewD : February 26th, 2010-21:32
... about this Swatch, Davo. Very clean lines and modern dial design. I guess Swatch can get away with the design when this would not suit many of their more 'traditional' companies. Thanks for showing us. Andrew
Serious Affair
By: Davo : February 27th, 2010-10:53
Glad you like it. This one's part of their 2008 Summer Irony Retrograde line, called "Serious Affair". I'm really enjoying this watch. It's quite a fun watch to wear and I've received several compliments about it so far....
Nice new piece, Davo!
By: dxboon : February 26th, 2010-22:07
Can you tell us more about it? Is it RG with retrograde seconds? It looks like there is a power reserve and another indicator, as well. Were you looking to add a Swatch to the collection or was this just a fortuitous find? Cheers, Daos
Thanks Daos.
By: Davo : February 27th, 2010-11:03
The case material is actually PG plated stainless. The retrograde is their typical 30 seconds, and the other two arcs at 10 and 2 are 60 and 5min chrono displays. This message has been edited by Davo on 2010-02-27 11:05:15...
Thanks!
By: dxboon : February 27th, 2010-14:13
The watch looks like lots of fun! Thanks for the information, Davo! Cheers, Daos
Cheers, Graham.

Tis a bit of a shame there's no auto mvt in it. But I have a feeling there will be something similar in an auto in the near future.
A very rich combination ...
By: AndrewD : February 26th, 2010-21:34
Love the colour of the strap against the gold of the Rolex case. You will have to share more about this Day Date on the Rolex Forum. Andrew
Nice combo!

possibly one of the best true phantoms Fernando
By: G99 : February 27th, 2010-15:01
the B&R, the very limited Sinn U1 and the Hublot King All Black are i think, the most black of all the phantoms out there. my Lum-tec misses the mark a bit. one day i'll get another true all black watch. enjoy Graham
Agree Graham...
By: fernando : February 27th, 2010-20:09
black though it is, it's surprisingly legible in the daytime. The others you mentioned are also good choices for a true phantom. HAGWE mate fernando

Nomos Tangente
By: anaesdoc : February 26th, 2010-06:06
It seems, not few of us are in a classical mood today - so am I, wearing the Nomos Tangente for the first time in a couple of months since yesterday. I am astonished to find it running very accurately (only +2 sec in 24 hrs). (Pic is obviously not from to...
Wonderful clean design
By: Ginger : February 26th, 2010-07:26
A Nomos watch is, IMHO, the best watch for the money as a first purchase. I try to steer my friends to this (helps there is a dealer in town). G
Great watch
By: jml_watches : February 26th, 2010-15:49
Great watch - Its good to see the black rather than the red power reserve. What made you choose the black version? I have the red by the way. Cheers JML
Looks and logic :-)!
By: anaesdoc : February 26th, 2010-22:18
Hi JML, I chose the black PR indication for those two reasons: 1. I think it looks "cleaner" that way (although I occassionally like a dot of colour on the dial, but not in such a classical Bauhaus design) 2. Red is an alarm colour to me, i.e. lots of red...
yep red is cool too :-)
By: jml_watches : February 27th, 2010-06:14
And just to prove it '> Nomos with a little bit of colour Cheers JML...

Stefan, do you have a shot of the date window font?
By: AndrewD : February 26th, 2010-21:59
