1994 Omega "Lillehammer Olympics" production numbers

Regarding the 1994 Omega Speedmaster "Lillehammer Olympics"

I have a full size chronometer version number 8X/194 complete with everything and never used.  Was originally sold in Zürich December 28 1993.  Beautiful watch and fun to have as I visited the Olympic games back in 1994.  The Omega factory has been kind enough to provide me with copies of some original brochures and sales material.  I can inform you about the following production information:

Chronometer, 18K gold: 
49 pieces midsize and 49 fullsize worldwide

Chronometer, stainless steel: 
194 pieces midsize and 194 full size (on the back the number is engaved as follows:  XX/194).  There is a certificate d'origin stating the limited number of 194 and which number your watch is of these 194.  The chronometer version is delivered in a leather box.

Quartz version, stainless steel: 
Mid size and full size.  On the back you will only find the production number XX and not as above XX/194.  You will also not find a certificate stating the limitation to 194.  This is due to the fact that the quartz-version was NOT limited production and therefore carries the running production number engraved on the back.  The quartz-version is delivered in a fabric box.

By the way, the occation for the watch was as official equipment provider for the swiss olympic team and not as official time keeper at the Lillehammer olympics in 1994.  That job was awarded to SEIKO.  On the dial you will see both the swiss flag and the olympic symbol as the occation was the swiss olympic team as earlier mentioned.
