Hi Monster
Really nice 145.012 67.
On the comment "what has been worn on the moon" must I say,I have not come across a 100% statemant like yours: "..at Apollo 11, one Speedmaster 105.003 was used by Buzz Aldrin, one Speedmaster 105.012 was used by Neil Armstrong and one Speedmaster 145.012 was used by Micheal Collins orbiting ..."
That was new to me, I have found several comments to what there has been or hasnt been worn on the moon. But no real 100% statements so far. Doesnt make it easier as some of the watches are gone.
Chuck Maddox was mentioning it like this:
"John Diethelm also states that the ST 145.012 was the case reference of the Speedmaster chronographs that went to the " Moon ".
I wonder why you mention John Diethleman as a former Omega employee..? He is still employed (but not as Public Relations any more, and probably not full time as it seems), but as:
At least last time I emailed him some month back...?
But I can also read that he "recently retired" on Chucks site...?
Monster, i am not having a go at you, I just want to understand
Mhh, confused dane
Cheers
Hans
