. . . tempusfugit joined us at the boutique, and for dinner as well. It was a pleasure meeting him yesterday, and we'll be making a tour of L A watch stores tomorrow to liven up his stay in So Cal.

Tempusfugit!

Long time didn't hear from him! Say hello from me, please. Have fun, guys, which I don't doubt a minute! All the best, Nicolas

Hello Nicolas....

It has been awhile. It was a fun evening, indeed. And your name was mentioned as well! Best, tempusfugit

In bad or in good? :)

My first opportunity to meet the LA Purists and I can attest to their gracious Southern California hospitality--an Omega extravaganza followed by dinner in a landmark "Rocker" restaurant. Good company, interesting conversation, LA ambience and good food. ...

Great to meet you...

 By: mrsnak : June 24th, 2011-08:08
Hope we meet again at another gathering.

The pleasure was all mine....

How to change a toolwatch in a girlie watch... Too bad! Best, Nicolas

IMHO, the only "Girlie" aspect is the white rubber strap ....

I agree, but the women's market for large watches seems to be strong...

I was surprised to see a 45.5mm Planet Ocean with diamonds in the ladies' case.

Yes, I saw that, too, and I even found it cool on a woman's wrist.

 By: amanico : June 24th, 2011-12:19
I sws some women wearing 44 mm white dialed Panerais ... In Italy. And to say all, with a nice tan on the wrist, it works! Best, Nicolas.

What is more sensual than a lightly tanned female wrist...

And even if it was golden age for Omega, looking back won't change anything. They have to look forward and they have some arguments to make great movements like 85xx or 93xx. Time will tell if they're as great as expected.

You couldn't say 85xx or 93xx are beta testing calibers. Moreover durability needs time to be confirmed. Let's talk about that in 10 or 20 years. Perhaps they're even far better than older movements. This message has been edited by scholiaste on 2011-07-0...
