I reckon, it follows the color of the bezel

Crownguard, based on my little experience and exposure, regarding Omega Constellation watches, I reckon the tension-ring follows the color of the bezel.
I have with me an Omega Constellation 'C' series, with a combination of 18k pink and 18k white gold. In 18k pink gold: the center case, the back-cover, the winding-crown. In 18k white gold: the bezel, the hour markers, the three hands, the Omega logo and signature, as well as, the star, the date window-frame, the tension-ring.
Some people believe the above watch is either a franken or a fake because a bi-color Constellation seldom appears on the market. I picked it up because at one time, I had a bi-color Constellation in 18k yellow and 18k white gold. Then, I wrote to Omega Switzerland, some time in 1991, giving them the details of the watch. (Unfortunately, this watch is no longer with me, now.) This is the reply from Omega Bienne Switzerland.
'The described watch was manufactured on 7 February, 1967. From 1959 to 1973 a total of 1,6000,000 watches were manufactured of this caliber (561-564). However, it is not known any more how many of these timepieces were made in a yellow and white gold combination.
The chronometer rating certificates being kept for ten years, we regret to inform you that after this period no copies can be obtained any more.
Any other details concerning your watch - such as name of seller and former price - are no longer available, nor can we assess its present value which can only be determined by a collector.'
Since my son is not available to help me out to upload the picture/s of my current bi-color Constellation, on my own I am hopeless. I am not computer-savvy. Maybe, if a forum member is kind enough to PM me, I shall be able to email the picture/s to him/her, so that the picture/s can be uploaded, for us to share.
Recently, I sent my watch to the Omega Boutique in Sydney, for a service. It cost me a whopping $890.00 (including GST). This is even more expensive than what RSC will charge me for a Rolex watch service.
Anyway, now my friends believe this bi-color Constellation is not a franken or a fake, since if it is so, Omega Boutique Sydney would have already shown me the door.
